TUVA worked with influencers across the spectrum to build the case for ESS’ positioning as a leader in the field of grid energy storage. This included major media, energy publications, environmental title and the principal energy industry analysts. Speaking ops were secured, news issues and socials posts crafted to communicate the news that ESS had arrived in Europe and was a key contender in the field.



What We Did

ESS Inc. is one of the most important innovators in energy storage and called on TUVA Partners to launch the company in Europe and establish it as a leading player in the market. A manufacturer of sustainable energy storage based on iron-flow battery technology, ESS was ambitious to play a major role in the harvesting of energy from wind, solar and other renewable sources, but was little known among European power utilities and major energy users.

Results

TUVA’s work led to ESS rapidly becoming adopted as a “poster-child” for the burgeoning energy storage industry with its CEO and its European Director being called on by The Economist, Reuters, Financial Times and Bloomberg to comment on its role in the transition to net zero. A total of 68 articles were achieved in Europe for ESS during the first year of TUVA working with the company, five speaking opportunities secured and four industry analyst groups briefed in person. ESS is now well on its way to achieving its desired positioning as the sustainable innovator in the sector and a natural choice for European customers.
